Dalat in the central highlands

This area was heavily contested during the war, and Agent Orange defoliated
most of it.  However, with help from the US and other countries,  it is now a major producer of coffee,  bananas, flowers and silk for both domestic and foreign trade.  Here are a few photos from the Dalat area.

We visited Dalat University which has about 18,000 students.  These are my 2 student friends who escorted me around their campus.  We had a lot of fun practicing their English.
