Dublin is large, busy and young.  We saw many people jogging, cycling or walking briskly in this metropolitan area of nearly one million.  It is an international banking hub with a diverse population.   We saw several highlights of the city but only scratched the surface.  Here is a quick look at what we saw in today's Dublin.
This is a replica of the "famine" ship, The Jeannie Johnston.  It made several successful voyages with Irish immigrants leaving desperate conditions during the Potato Famine of 1845-52.  The sculptures are a tribute to those who left everything behind in search of a better life.
